More than 2,500 international students from over 130 countries call the University of Wolverhampton home. Nationally commended and internationally recognised, the University achieved four stars in the most recent QS international ratings and has a graduate employability rate of 96 per cent (DLHE).
The University of Wolverhampton has been providing students with life-changing opportunities for more than 190 years. With over 500 courses to choose from, international students can move closer to their career goals. Three faculties offer courses in more than 70 subject areas, with many courses accredited by professional bodies.
Wolverhampton is in a central location in the UK, with Birmingham just 18 minutes away by train. Manchester can be reached in 70 minutes, and London in approximately 90 minutes. Wolverhampton also offers a cheap cost of living compared to other UK cities.
The University invests a lot in its students and the campus community. Millions of pounds have been put into campus developments and learning facilities in recent years, including new engineering facilities, a science building and a new home for the Business School. As it is a global institution, Wolverhampton aims to give all students opportunities to improve their knowledge, skills and confidence so they can succeed in the international economy.
Services
The University of Wolverhampton runs an orientation programme for new international students at the beginning of the year. All international students are also offered free English language support during their degree, while separate credit-bearing modules are also available in academic and general English. Once you have arrived at the University, student services can assist you with university life, finding part-time work, immigration regulations, adapting to UK life and language support.
