The Law Society's Diversity Access Scheme
Overview
The Law Society's Diversity Access Scheme scholarship (DAS) could help you to finance your LPC and support you in preparing for a career as a solicitor.
What is the DAS?
The DAS is a scholarship for aspiring solicitors. The DAS award package includes:
- An LPC scholarship: funding for up to the full cost of your LPC fees.
- Professional contacts: a professional mentor to help with queries relating to a future career in law.
- Opportunities to gain work experience: work experience placements, brokered through the Law Society.
Who should apply?
You will need to have received an offer for our full-time or part-time LPC starting September 2019.
Application criteria
You have to fulfil certain criteria to be eligible for the DAS. To check your eligibility, please visit The Law Society's website.
How many awards are available?
Up to ten standard DAS scholarships will be available this year.
When do applications open?
Applications will open at noon on 4 February 2019 and will close on 8 April 2019.
