Trudeau Foundation Scholarship
Overview
The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation provides up to 20 scholarships annually to prospective and current MPhil/PhD students who carry out research in areas related to the Foundation's four themes in the social sciences and humanities:
- Human Rights and Dignity
- Responsible Citizenship
- Canada in the World
- People and their Natural Environment
Applicants must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants pursuing full-time doctoral studies in Canada or foreign institutions. Candidates will be considered by the Foundation only if they have been nominated by a university.
The scholarships provide up to $60,000 per scholar for up to four years.
How do I apply?
UCL will only be able to consider your application for nomination if you are a current or incoming student at UCL and are registered on a MPhil/PhD programme within one of the following UCL Faculties:
- Faculty of Social & Historical Sciences
- Faculty of Arts & Humanities
- Faculty of Laws
- Institute of Education
You will need to complete and submit an online application form, including the required references and transcripts, to the Foundation's application portal (you will need to 'Create an account') by Monday, 4 February 2019.
