This scholarship is for applicants who are a national of Turkey, are classified as 'Overseas' for fee purposes and have been accepted to study an eligible Masters course at Sussex.

Who is eligible
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

Be a national of Turkey

Be classified as ‘overseas’ for fee purposes

Be taking up a place on a full time Masters degree, starting September 2024
Applicants holding offers from the Jean Monnet Scholarship Program are eligible to apply to the Sussex Turkey Scholarship and will be able to receive both.
Who isn’t eligible
You are not eligible for this scholarship if your full tuition fees will be paid to the university by a sponsor.
You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are going to study any of the following:

Certificates and Diplomas (including PGCE)

Courses at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS)
-
Courses at IDS
-
Early Years Education (with Early Years Teacher status)
-
Degrees in Social Work (if receiving an NHS bursary)

Online courses
-
School direct teaching courses
-
Masters funded by the research councils (e.g. ESRC 1+3 funding)
As this scholarship is funded by the University of Sussex, it is not possible to combine this with other Sussex scholarships (e.g. Chancellor's International Scholarship).
