Overview

This scholarship is for new international students who will begin a full-time undergraduate course in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in September 2024. The award is a £5,000 scholarship per year for the duration of their degree (total of £20,000 for a four year course). All offer-holders are eligible for this scholarship.

Eligibility

In order to be deemed eligible for a Dean's International Excellence Award, candidates must:

Be available to commence academic studies in the UK by the start of the academic year in September/October 2024.
Have paid their tuition fee deposit before 31st July 2024.
Register as an international, fee-paying student.
Have an offer of study for a full-time four year undergraduate Humanities and Social Sciences programme at the University of Strathclyde.
This also includes year two entry to the two year Graduate Entry LLB Law programme.
Be self-funded. Students who receive full scholarships, from a government office or embassy for example, will not be eligible.
