Japan-Scotland Society Scholarship
Overview
Two Scholarships worth ¥300,000 (JPY) are available each year to assist Japanese students of any speciality undertaking Masters postgraduate study at a Scottish university.
The award was established in 2009 by the Japan Scotland Society to commemorate the founder, Mr Takahashi Yoshiteru, and the long-time donor and supporter of the society, Mr James T Howat.
Eligible applicants must be Japanese nationals and willing to be active in the JSS after completion of their studies. Scholarship and application details can be found the JSS website.
Applications should be sent to JSS with the required documents, and must be received by the 30 April each year.
