Unlock your potential with our scholarships of £2,000 or £7,000 towards tuition fees for students from East Asia.

We're offering scholarships for high-achieving international students who live in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Mongolia, Korea and Taiwan, covering £2,000 or £7,000 towards tuition fees in the first year of your degree course at the University of Nottingham.

The application closing date for this scholarship is Thursday 22 April 2021 at midnight (UK time).

Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

• be domiciled in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Mongolia, North Korea, South Korea or Taiwan
• be classed as an 'overseas' student for tuition fee purposes
• hold an offer to begin a full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Nottingham in September 2021, in any subject area

How to apply

You must apply for an undergraduate degree course at the University of Nottingham and receive an offer of study before they can apply for this scholarship. Search for courses and find out how to apply through UCAS.

Once you have received your offer, you can apply for this scholarship through the scholarships section of MyNottingham. Applications will close at midnight (UK time) on Thursday 22 April 2021.

You will need to answer a series of questions about your achievements, study plans and reasons for choosing to study at the University of Nottingham. Allow yourself time to prepare strong answers, as the scholarships will be offered to applicants based on academic merit and the strength of your application statements.
