We are pleased to offer 30 Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship awards for outstanding applicants who apply for full-time undergraduate study at Newcastle University.

Eligibility criteria

To be considered for scholarships applicants must:

be domiciled in one of one of the following countries:

South Africa, Kenya
USA, Canada
China
Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea
Brazil, Mexico, Peru
Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and UAE
India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka
Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam
be assessed as international for fee purposes:
hold an offer for an eligible undergraduate degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2025/26 academic year
already have or expect to receive a minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent
