South Asia Scholarship
Overview
The University of Lincoln’s South Asia Scholarship is aimed at supporting postgraduate taught students from across Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
Who is it for?
The University of Lincoln’s South Asia Scholarship is designed to help students from across Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka to access postgraduate level study at the University of Lincoln. The South Asia Scholarship is offered as a tuition fee discount against the cost of a postgraduate taught programme commencing in the 2024/25 academic year.
Scholarship Amount
The South Asia Scholarship is valued at £3,000 and will be awarded to eligible students as a tuition fee discount during the first year of their studies.
Selection Criteria
In order to be eligible to receive the South Asia Scholarship, prospective students must meet the following criteria:

Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka.

Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in September 2024 or January 2025.

Have completed a Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent qualification that leads to postgraduate study) from a recognised institution, and have obtained a minimum of a 2:1 classification (or an equivalent).
