Chevening Scholarships
Overview
The Chevening Programme, which is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations, was established in 1983 and has developed into a prestigious international scheme. Chevening Scholars come from more than 160 countries and territories worldwide. There are over 60,000 Chevening alumni around the world who comprise an influential and highly regarded global network. Awards are typically for a one-year Master’s degree, in any subject and at any of the UK’s leading universities.
Chevening offers a unique opportunity for future leaders and influencers from all over the world to develop professionally and academically, network extensively, experience UK culture and build lasting positive relationships with the UK.
Entry requirements
To apply for this Scholarship, you must have:

an undergraduate degree;

at least two years' work experience (including voluntary experience); and

leadership qualities and a passion for influencing positive change in your home country.
