GREAT Scholarships 2024 - Nigeria
Overview
In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, University of Birmingham is offering one scholarship to a student in Nigeria applying for a postgraduate course at Birmingham Law School.
The GREAT Scholarships 2024 programme, launched by the British Council together with 72 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Greece, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.
Please note that applicants should be passport holders of Nigeria to be applicable.
About the award
The GREAT Scholarships for justice and law are jointly funded by the University of Birmingham with the UK government’s GREAT Britain campaign and the British Council.
The scholarship programme offers financial support of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for any of the LLM Programmes at the University of Birmingham Law School for September 2024 entry.

Eligibility Criteria
All applicants to this scholarship must:

Meet the academic conditions of their offer to the programme to retain the scholarship

Be domiciled in Nigeria

Be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees not covered by the scholarship

Have sufficient funds to cover the full cost of living at the University of Birmingham, plus any visa/travel expenses associated with studying in the UK

Must not be in receipt of any further scholarships or funding
