GREAT Scholarships 2024 - India and Ghana
Overview
In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, University of Birmingham is offering a scholarship to a student from India and a student from Ghana applying for postgraduate courses in the College of Arts and Law (excluding Law LLM and MSc).
The GREAT Scholarships 2024 programme, launched by the British Council together with 72 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Greece, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.
Please note that applicants should be passport holders of Ghana or India.
About the award
The scholarship programme offers financial support of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for any programme in the College of Arts and Law (excluding LLM or MSc) for September 2024 entry.

Eligibility Criteria
All applicants to this scholarship must:

Meet the academic conditions of their offer to the programme to retain the scholarship

Be domiciled in India or Ghana

Be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees not covered by the scholarship

Have sufficient funds to cover the full cost of living at the University of Birmingham, plus any visa/travel expenses associated with studying in the UK

You must not be in receipt of any other scholarships or funding (University of Birmingham or external)
