Exciting Scholarships for Indian Students at The University of Manchester
The University of Manchester, world number one in the THE Impact Rankings, is offering a wide range of merit-based scholarships for Indian students applying for various courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate taught level.
The scholarships are aimed at creating more opportunities for academically excellent students to gain financial support whilst studying at Manchester.
Manchester scholarships will provide funding to Indian students across multiple disciplines including STEM, Engineering, Humanities and more.
Postgraduate Taught Master’s Scholarships
Women in STEM Scholarships
Supported by the British Council, this scholarship aims to increase opportunities in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) for girls and women.
The University of Manchester is offering five fully-funded scholarships for identifying girls and women from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka completing courses in STEM.
GREAT Scholarships
GREAT scholarships are merit-based awards of £10,000 towards tuition fees for one-year master’s programmes in specific subject areas to students from India, who will enrol in the 2022/23 academic year. Eligible courses include any master’s course from the School of Natural Sciences, School of Engineering, School of Law and School of Arts, Languages and Culture.
Engineering the Future Scholarships
The University of Manchester’s School of Engineering has announced scholarship awards for academically excellent international students, commencing their postgraduate taught (master’s) studies from September 2022.
No additional application is required for this scholarship and all offer holders will be considered automatically based on academic merit. Award value ranges from partial tuition fee waivers to full tuition fee waivers upto £28,000.
Global Futures Scholarship
The University is offering 80 merit-based master's awards of £6,000 to offer holders from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Manchester Humanities International Excellence Scholarships
The Faculty of Humanities is proud to offer scholarship awards to exceptional international students commencing postgraduate taught (master’s) studies across its subjects in September 2022.
In addition to the above-mentioned scholarships, the University of Manchester is offering Undergraduate Awards including the Global Futures Scholarship and the Manchester International Excellence Scholarships at the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
