Durham University partners with Study Group to open new International Centre
Durham University, ranked in the top 100 universities in the world, has announced that a new international Study Group centre will welcome students from September 2017.
The new centre will welcome non-EU students from around the world to the North East of England, preparing them for entry on to Durham University undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes through the development of their language and study skills.
Professor Stuart Corbridge, Vice-Chancellor of Durham University, said: “At Durham University we pride ourselves on the diversity of our community. Twenty-one per cent of our students are from outside the UK and there are 150 nationalities represented in our staff and student bodies.
“We believe that the pathway programmes offered at our new ISC are the best way to prepare students and ensure a smooth transition to our undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes.”
