BSc Nursing at Buckinghamshire New University now offered with Foundation Year
From September 2023 the BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult) with NMC Registration will now also be offered with Foundation Year at Buckinghamshire New University.
For students who do not feel ready for the BSc (Hons) in Nursing, are feeling nervous about returning to study after a break from education or do not meet the entry requirements for the BSc (Hons) three-year Adult Nursing degree, a Foundation Year could be the right fit.
Entry Requirements
Academic: Successful completion of Secondary Education.
- English for Foundation Year - 6.0 (5.5) IELTS or equivalent.
- English for Year 1 Entry - 6.5 (6.0) IELTS or equivalent.
Students will not need to undertake an interview for the foundation year. However, they will need to successfully complete a values-based interview at the end of the foundation year in order to progress onto year one of the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing.
Scholarship and Early Payment Discount
The Vice Chancellor’s International Student Scholarship is now worth up to £6,000 for international students. Students who qualify will receive £1,500 for their first year and a further scholarship of £1,500 for each year of their study.
In addition to the Vice-Chancellor’s International Student Scholarship, Buckinghamshire New are also pleased to offer an International Early Payment Discount of £500 for full payment of fees before the discount deadline.
