School of Law Research Scholarships
Overview
Warwick Law School is offering up to 2 PhD scholarships for applicants looking to start their studies in September 2019. Applicants may apply to study any Law discipline, but it is expected that the research proposal will be in line with the interests of an academic member of staff.
To apply for a research degree, we expect you to have a Master degree in law with merit or equivalent (including a thesis or dissertation), and at least an upper second class (2:1) undergraduate degree.
Funding: The scholarship will pay an annual stipend at the standard rate (currently £14,777) as well as full tuition fees for 3 years and is open to Home, EU and International applicants. Applications for funding are made through the link provided only after you’ve submitted an application for study.
Value: Full tuition fees for 3 years, (current 2018/2019 rates - £4,260 for home/EU and £17,050 for overseas), plus a stipend for 3 years (set at the standard RCUK rate, for 2018/2019 this was £14,777).
Deadline: The closing date for funding is 23.59pm (GMT) on 28 February 2019. Late applications will not be accepted and results will be communicated via e-mail by the end of April. Start date: 30 September 2019.
