These scholarships are funded by generous donations from alumni and a number of external organisations to provide opportunities for undergraduate students from disadvantaged backgrounds to study at the University of Strathclyde.

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration for an award, candidates must be holding a conditional/unconditional offer of admission to an undergraduate degree course at the University of Strathclyde and:

be entering the University from a Scottish secondary school with a low number of pupils moving to HE, (view the list of eligible schools); or
be school leavers from an area where the applicants postcode falls within the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD), classification MD20 Q1 (note applicants who fall under this category will be contacted directly); or
be from a Care background (applicants will be contacted directly).

The Head Teacher (or a designated member of school staff) is asked to provide a reference
