Institution of Civil Engineers QUEST Scholarship
Overview
The ICE QUEST scholarships have supported hundreds of civil engineering students, many of which are now working in the industry. At present there are over 250 QUEST scholars studying throughout the UK and the scholarship is supported by such companies as; Balfour Beattie, BAM Nuttall, Mott MacDonald and Network Rail.
The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is a registered charity that strives to promote and progress civil engineering. They believe that civil engineers are “at the heart of society, delivering sustainable development through knowledge, skills and professional expertise.”
Successful applicants are sponsored by a civil engineering or construction company for the duration of their studies. Companies arrange work experience placements every year during the summer holidays and offer professional training and guidance. Successful applicants also receive financial support of up to £2,500 for each year of their undergraduate studies.
