Zak Group FUTURE FWD Scholarship

Overview

The Zak Group FUTURE FWD Scholarship of £30,000 (£10,000 per year) is available to 1 Home or International student from a Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic background accepted on the 1st year of the BA Graphic Communication Design course at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London.

Eligibility

To be eligible for The Zak Group FUTURE FWD Scholarship students must be:

• Accepted onto the first year of the full-time BA Graphic Communication Design course at Central Saint Martins, UAL starting in September 2021

About

Zak Group is an international design practice at the forefront of the industry with belief that graphic design can make a meaningful contribution to culture. The studio is renowned for giving shape to contemporary visual culture at the intersection of art, architecture, design and fashion.

The Zak Group FUTURE FWD Scholarship has been created to advance equality and inclusion in graphic design. The scholarship provides full maintenance support for a student for the full three year period of their BA Graphic Communication Design degree at Central Saint Martins.

The scholarship will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit. It will provide a contribution of £10,000 per annum towards material costs and living expenses for the duration of the course except the placement year.

Applications are particularly welcome from students from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds who are in financial hardship and will benefit from undergraduate studies to realise their full potential.
