Overview
Two partial fee waivers of £5,125 each
A total scholarship fund worth £10,250 is available to applicants wishing to study a taught MA at the University of Kent, Rome starting in September 2020.
Applications will open on 1 April 2020.
Criteria
- Open to UK, EU and overseas fee-paying students.
- Applicants should be on track for a first-class Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject, or an equivalent non-UK qualification, or a Master’s degree at merit or distinction in a relevant subject or equivalent.
- Applicants must have formally accepted an offer of a place on one of the following Rome MA programmes starting in September 2020: Ancient History, History of Art, Roman History & Archaeology.
- Scholarships will be awarded to outstanding applicants able to demonstrate a high level of academic achievement, clear intellectual ambition and the potential to make a strong contribution to their chosen MA programme.
How to apply
- Candidates must have formally accepted their offer from the University by responding to their official offer letter within the Admission portal
- Candidates must also send a letter of motivation, not exceeding 500 words, stating why they wish to join their chosen Kent at Rome MA programme and how this fits into their longer term plans. The document should be saved as "first name/surname/application number Letter of Motivation".
- The letter should be sent to the Academic Director of Rome; Professor Tom Henry with the subject line "Rome Scholarship/first name/surname/application number"
