India Women in Leadership Scholarship

Overview

Scholarship value: 50% of the tuition fees for one year of study.

Deadline

Scholarship application deadline: Friday 23 May 2025, 5pm BST.

To allow time for programme applications to be processed students should apply for a course no later than Friday 9 May 2025..

Criteria

• Open to female students from, and domiciled in India.

• Applicants will be shortlisted based on their academic performance.

• Applicants must have received a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time programme by the deadline* in order to be considered for the award.

• Candidates must be available for video interview, via Microsoft Teams, to be held in the week commencing 9 June 2025, the exact date to be confirmed, which is subject to change.

*Please note that the scholarship deadline cannot be extended under any circumstances. This includes applicants that have not received an offer before 23 May.

Please note that this scholarship is only available to students assessed as overseas fee payers.

Applicants who have applied for a Masters which includes an integrated pre-Masters are not eligible to apply.

We are delighted to offer 5 scholarships which will cover 50% of the tuition fees for one year of study, to female students from India, applying to our taught Masters programmes.

This scholarship will support the increasing focus on greater representation of women in senior leadership positions in India and will build on the success of current and female previous students who have excelled in a range of courses including Business, Forensic Science and Computing.  This scholarship is administered and awarded exclusively by the University of Kent.
