Exeter Excellence Scholarships (Undergraduate)
Overview
Our Exeter Excellence Scholarships recognise outstanding academic achievement, offering funding to help cover the costs of studying at the University of Exeter. We are committed to attracting talented students from around the world to become part of our dynamic university community where, as a scholar, you will have access to exceptional teaching, learning, and academic research whilst contributing to our vibrant global community.
Scholarships available:
Awards of £3,000 or £5,000 are being offered by the following departments:

All campus-based Undergraduate degrees in the above areas are eligible, except the following:
Ineligible Undergraduate programmes - All Flexible Combined Honours; BMBS Medicine; Law programmes delivered by the University of Law; Dual LLB/Juris Doctor (JD) with the Chinese University of Hong Kong; LLB Engineering and Law (HKUST); Graduate Law LLB; Degree Apprenticeships.
Entry requirements
You can apply for one of these scholarships if you:

have International fee status (including any EU students required to pay International fees in 2025/26)

already hold an offer to study an eligible Undergraduate degree at the University of Exeter, beginning in September 2025.

Scholarship recipients are selected on:

Academic merit, based on the information you have supplied in your UCAS application. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate that they have achieved or are able to achieve the equivalent of GCE A level grades AAB. See our Entry Requirements pages for further guidance.

The ability to demonstrate the following as part of the application process: academic and career ambition; a clear plan for making the most of the study opportunity; a sense of social responsibility and willingness to engage with the Exeter community.
