Overview

The Department of Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine offers four scholarships to students on the Clinical Management of Pain (Online Distance Learning) programme in the 2022-2023 academic session.

Award

Each scholarship provides a one-off payment of up to £1,000 towards tuition fees.

Eligibility

Applicants must be in possession of an unconditional offer by the scholarship deadline of 14th July 2022 to be considered for funding and intend to begin their PGCert/PGDip/MSc in the Clinical Management of Pain (Online Distance Learning) in 2022-2023.

Students on programme are also eligible to apply.

Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the strength of a personal statement.  Candidates are encouraged to address the following questions in their personal statement (400 words maximum):

  • What specific elements of this programme attracted you to the University of Edinburgh

  • How will successful completion of this programme at the University of Edinburgh benefit your career and personal development

The scholarship deadline is 23:59 BST 14th July 2022.
