Summary

Students commencing either a BSc Sports & Exercise Science degree (C600), BSc Exercise and Health Science degree (C603), and BSc Applied Sports Science (C605) in September 2020 are eligible to apply for a Saltire Energy Undergraduate Studentship in Sport Science.

Description

The scholarship is valued at £1,200 per annum and will be awarded to the successful recipient for the duration of the four year undergraduate degree programme (for the eligible programmes noted above). One scholarship is available.

Eligibility

All UK/Home Fees students applying to study any of the eligible degrees are encouraged to apply for the Saltire Energy Undergraduate Studentship in Sport Science - the Studentship will be awarded on the basis of commitment to sport and academic merit.

Criteria

The Scholarships Panel will take into account commitment to sport, educational background, other relevant information given in your personal statement, and the statement from your referee.

Application is via our online form at the link below. Please read the guidelines below for full details, and ensure that you provide the name and email address of a suitable referee.

Please note, the University also offers a range of scholarships through its Entrance Scholarship Scheme. Applicants are permitted to apply to this scheme in addition to the Saltire Energy scholarship noted above, but must complete the separate online application form. Students are only permitted to take up one scholarship from all of those offered by the University of Aberdeen prior to the commencement of study.
