UK Ministers promote Education and Skills in India
After the recent visit to the UK by the Indian PM Narendra Modi to strengthen the relation between India and UK, two British ministers: Sajid Javid, Secretery of State for Business, Innovation, and Skills, and Jo Johnson, Minister of State for Universities and Science started their Indian tour from 9th December in New Delhi and will finish on 11th December.
During the three day tour, they will visit New Delhi, Hydrabad, Bengaluru, and Mumbai to meet the Indian students and faculty and ministers of the state and central government in the fields of higher education, skills and research co-operation.
Sajid also launched Midlands Engine initiative in New Delhi with FICCI Director General Dr. A Didar Singh. The Midland Engine promotes the Midland region in the UK as the hub for manufacturing technology.
