Newcastle University International Scholarships 2020
Newcastle University is offering several generous scholarships to students applying to study undergraduate and postgraduate programs in 2020. The University is a leading red-brick university and is a member of the 24 Russell Group universities, known for their outstanding teaching and research quality. Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarships
Newcastle University is offering as many as 200 scholarships as part of the Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarships 2020. These scholarships will be available to outstanding students from India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University. Each grant will have a value of £1,500 - £5,000 towards the tuition fees depending on merit.
Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships
The University is also offering 39 Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships to international students from 15 countries including India. These offer two students a full fee waiver and the rest 37 a 50 percent waiver on the tuition fees. Applications for the scholarship are open till 29th May 2020.
Eligibility
To be eligible for both the scholarships students must be pursuing a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree program and hold an offer for the program from Newcastle University for the upcoming 2020-21 intake. Students must be categorized as international for fee purposes. Eligible students will be selected on the basis of academic merit and the quality of the application.
