MMU is offering Sport Scholarships, worth up to £7,000 to the competing athletes providing a wide range of support tailored to the athlete’s individual needs. This scholarship package is more than just a bursary. It is a range of services, support and financial assistance to allow you to maintain academic and athletic balance.

Scholarship Package

The total package is worth up to £7,000 per year. ‌The amount offered will be determined by the University's Sport Scholarship committee and each case is considered on its own merit. For exceptional applicants additional University support is available such as

Discounted Sport Scholar townhouse accommodation
Financial expense contribution
Access to top class sporting facilities, either on campus or within 10 minutes drive
Personalised sport science support
Free sports club membership for team athletes

To be an MMU Sports Scholar, athletes must meet the basic criteria of currently studying for or in acceptance of a place on a full-time or part-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree at MMU, meet the academic requirements of their course and must be competing at regional, national or international level
