University of Lincoln at Bangalore
Since being officially granted university status in 2001, there are few UK universities which have climbed the rankings faster than the University of Lincoln. Based in an historic midlands city, there are currently 10,000 students enrolled from over 100 countries.
The University has specialist hubs for the study of Equine Science, Engineering, Art and Media, and was the first university to win a Charter Mark for exceptional student service. All students take the Effective Learning Programme, which is designed to improve study and work skills, while work placements can be used for credit to count towards a degree. The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2015 placed Lincoln among the top 10 modern universities in the UK.
Lincoln features some of the most striking architecture in Europe due to its medieval history, and all students will graduate in the cathedral and castle grounds on the steep hill. It is also one of the safest cities in the UK.

Lincoln continues to impress in relation to other post-1992 universities, and has risen 60 places in major league tables over the last five years. The University is ranked in the top 50 for student satisfaction in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2015, with a number of courses also ranking in the top 20 nationally including Journalism, Psychology, Drama, English and Sport & Exercise.
